Amelia Hope Waterhouse
Amelia founded Hope House Eventing in 2019 to concentrate full time on breeding and producing exceptional young sport horses through the levels.
As both a passionate breeder and keen event rider, Amelia’s philosophy is to produce strong, sound horses with correct movement and a powerful jump paired with a competitive and trainable mentality.
Amelia was placed third in the 2019 Restricted Novice National Championship at the Magic Millions Festival of British Eventing on Caher Rocky who she has produced from a 4 year old. She has also enjoyed breeding success with multiple Hope House foals achieving the prestigious grading of ‘Gold Premium’ at British Breeding events. Amelia is also a member of the Anglo European Studbook Young Breeders program, developing her knowledge and insight into the improvement of sport horse breeding in the UK as well as attending grading events and shadowing the best warmblood evaluators in Europe.
Amelia is an Alumni of Sheffield Hallam Business School where she studied BA(Hons) Business and Financial Management. Amelia was awarded the Lord & Lady Blyth Sport Bursary in recognition of her equestrian success to date.
