MJ joined the Hope House Eventing team in May 2020 straight off the farm in Holland. She is a lovely big framed mare with huge amounts of scope, a wonderful temperament and incredible breeding.

MJ descends from the most prestigious bloodlines in the world of showjumping including Numero Uno, Cor De La Brere, Voltaire and Nimmerdor. Her dam Njirina M, who competed upto 1.35m herself and was a top broodmare for Stal Hendrix, was awarded the prestigious KWPN gradings of “Preferent” and “Prestatie”, status only awarded to mares proven to deliver offspring with good conformation and the necessary talent for the sport along with a number of offspring that have proven themselves in top level sport. MJ’s maternal siblings are already competing successfully at 1.40m level along with a full brother competing at 1.20m SJ and 2* Eventing. Her damline has so far produced 93 horses jumping at 1.40m, 21 of which are jumping 1.60m, and 3 Grand Prix dressage horses. She is from the same direct damline as 1.60m showjumper Queen of Diamonds who finished 6th in the Paris World Cup and multiple time Nations Cup winner Iris 90.

MJ’s damsire, Amaretto D I, is a successful showjumper and winner of the 1991 Wiesbaden Grand Prix. He has two full siblings who also competed at 1.60m, one of which is Apricot D who won team Silver at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics as well as multiple World Cup wins. Amaretto D I has sired multiple 1.60m jumpers including KM Nerina, winner of the Falsterbo 5* and runner up in the Linz-Ebelsberg Nations Cup under Jur Vreiling.

MJ’s sire Entertainer is a proven 1.60m showjumper and KWPN licensed stallion who’s dam line includes1.60m showjumpers and 4* event horses. At just 13 years of age he has already produced 7 offspring competing at 1.45m+ and two international eventers.
