Jaeger came to Hope House Eventing as a lovely big 4 year old in September 2021. Bred and broken in Ireland, Jaeger descends from the legendary Holstein and Irish performance bloodlines of both Burggraaf and King of Diamonds. His sire Diamond Graaf has successfully jumped up to 1.30m. Jaeger’s Grand sire Burggraaf (Landgraf I x Cor De La Bryere) is an internationally recognised Grand Prix showjumper and a 2.10m Puissance winner with a very successful stud career who descends from the famous Holstein dam line that produced Accord I, Accord II, Acobat I to IV, Arico, Fra Diavolo, Chicago, Freeman and Cordon Bleu. Burggraaf has produced 96 1.60m jumpers and 7 Grand Prix dressage horses. Great grand sire Diamond Lad also produced 6 1.60m jumpers including Heather Blaze who won the San Marino Nations Cup and the Hickstead King George V Gold Cup.
